There’s this quiet nudge I felt a while back—a pull to help others find their spark through Tantra. Becoming a certified Tantra Practitioner felt like the way forward, and it’s been a heartfelt journey. As a Tantric practitioner, I’ve learned it’s as much about my own healing as guiding others, and it’s changed me in ways I didn’t expect.
With the world craving real connection, Tantric practitioners like me get to be part of something bigger. It’s not just work—it’s a calling.
What It Means to Be a Tantric Practitioner
Being a Tantric practitioner is about holding space with love. I use breath, gentle touch, and energy to help people let go of old hurts and feel alive. But I had to start with myself—facing my own fears during a session made me a better guide.
I remember my first client session, hands trembling a bit, but their sigh of relief? That’s why I do this.

Embarking on the 18 Month Tantra Certification
Our 18 Month Tantra Certification at Embodied Awakening Academy is a deep dive that started for me with a mix of excitement and nerves. It’s 13 modules over 18 months, giving me time to really grow. Here’s my take:
Foundational Embodiment
I began with self-attunement—breathing through old emotions. It was messy, but I felt lighter after.
Advanced Facilitation Skills
Now I’m learning session flow—tantric massage, energy work. Practicing with a friend last month felt awkward, but their feedback helped me improve.
Mentorship and Community
Pod Groups and mentor calls are my anchors. I shared a shaky practice video last week, and the encouragement was gold.
It’s mostly online, with a tempting Bali retreat option in May 2026 I’m eyeing. About 10-15 hours a week, with free courses to keep me inspired. Costs $12,000 (or $9,000 if you qualify), with plans to make it work. Ends with assessments by July 2027, graduation by September.
Challenges and Gifts on the Journey
It’s not all smooth—old triggers pop up, and ethical questions keep me on my toes. But a quick shake or meditation turns it around. The gifts? Watching a client soften, hearing “You helped me feel safe”—that’s everything.
Ethical Practice in a Modern World
Consent and boundaries are huge. The training hammers that in, ensuring I’m a safe guide. It’s about trust, always.

Stepping into Service
Once certified, I dream of leading circles or sessions. It’s daunting but thrilling. The world needs this.
